spas
to those pampered femme fatales out there,
I wonder if this sampler is value-for-money. can anyone tell me how to evaluate? i am a no-frills person, i like everything to be functional. not to mention that wine spa is a pretty novel idea. (http://www.spasauvignon.com.sg)
it comes with a scrub, hydrotherapy and massage. altogether 2 hrs... as compared to those below..Balik Kampung's Cocoa Fever promotion (left side of page) consists of a scrub and massage.. $128 for 150mins worth of services. plus point: it is quite near my house at Changi.
the other one is a weekday promotion for 2 persons. (right side of page)
plus point: it comes with scrub, hydrotherapy and massage. however, if you do the math, it says 1 hr long massage, right? but the entire treatment is only 120mins.. effectively, that leaves 20mins for scrub and hydrotherapy. divide that and you'll get 10mins of each service, approximately...
minus point: i need to find another person to go with me. it is $228 for 2 persons.
what do you babes think? =)

http://www.newasia-singapore.com/sections/3a/0,1138,467,00.html has detailed descriptions of the best spas in singapore. unfortunately, there's no hard and fast rule to evaluate spas because every individual has his/her own tastes/preferences. for eg., i like low-key place jus like u, with lots of fragrances and an experienced masseur with strong fingers. maybe for u it's gotta have some thai/indochinese flavor. the prices are all ard 100+ to 200 anw... hope that helps.
